Not what I was expecting

A fair homage to the earlydays of cartooning and slightly updated too.

I felt the timing was a little awkward at various points, but overall this is a good piece of work.

Though it's a little too biased to be considered just an overview, I rather liked it.

The stylized animation was nice and the general timing of the movie worked. Not bad.

Needs Work

The voice work was decently annoying and the animation was lazy at best.

The drawings weren't exactly bad, but the tweening just gave it all a jumbled feeling when it moved.

On the subject of movement, It was a very still and boring animation job. The characters were flat and non-expressive. Which, when compounded with annoying voice work, was just bad.

You've got a long way to go, but keep trying. You could probably make a decent animation if you put more time into it (which as you said in the description, had limits in this case).

Just Wow...

That's probably one of the best animations I've seen in weeks.

The art was absolutely beautiful and wonderfully stylized. And the story was pretty clever and original.

Looking forward to the sequel.
